Christmas holidays can be just like any other holidays when it comes to keeping the kids entertained…. at Fireflies we enjoy doing crafts and did all sorts on the lead up to Christmas – here are a few you might like to try before the children head back to school!!
‘Reindeer Ornaments’ – easy to make!!
You’ll need : 3 lolly sticks, goggle eyes, small red pompom, 2 brown pipe cleaners, glue/tape
Method:
Glue the sticks into a triangle shape.
Add eyes & nose.
Add ‘antlers’ fashioned out of the pipe cleaners.
Attach some string at the top to hang your reindeer – Job Done!
Stained Glass Baubles
You’ll need : black card, tissue paper, glue, scissors
Method :
Cut out your bauble shape from the black card.
Glue the tissue paper over the ‘cut out centre’.
(We then laminate ours to help them last longer!) Stick them on your windows – Job Done!
